Organized for the second year with the support of Migros Cultural Percentage, this program enables six young Swiss filmmakers to discuss their feature film project in-depth with Swiss and international screenwriters and producers. The aim is to strengthen the development phase of their project, to facilitate meetings with professionals and to familiarize them with the film industry’s challenges. The participants will also present their latest short films the same day as part ofthe Festival.
 
The event is only available to participants, the screening of participants' short films is open to the public.

Elie Grappe
Elie Grappe was born in 1994 in Lyon. He graduated from ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne) in Film in 2015. His short films Rehearsal and Suspendu were selected in many festivals internationally. He co-directed in 2017 the documentary Hors Scène with Timothée Zurbuchen. He begins in 2016 the writing of his first feature film, OLGA. The project received fund from CNC and Cinéforom, and was selected for Émergence Residency in 2018.
 
Jenna Hasse 
Actress and director, Jenna Hasse studied drama at the INSAS, in Brussel. As a director, she presented her first short film In August at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes in 2014. In 2016, her second short film Soltar was presented at the FIFF Namur and Curtas Vila do Conde. She is currently in postproduction of her short film Nottetempo and in development of her first feature film Love of the World.
 
Pauline Jeanbourquin 
Pauline Jeanbourquin was born in 1995 in Jura, Switzerland. She graduated from ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne) in Film in 2017. Her diploma film Dusk won the Narcisse Giger Award at the NIFFF (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival) in 2018. In parallel to her projects, she currently works as assistant director on feature films.
 
Alberto Martín Menacho
Born in 1986 in Madrid, Alberto Martín Menacho is a filmmaker and film editor currently based in Geneva. He studied Film at HEAD (Geneva University of Art and Design). His works have been presented at the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, Filmmuseum München, Entrevues Belfort and the International Film Festival Rotterdam, among others. His last film My Beloved,The Mountains, was awarded the Best short film Award at the International Film Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
 
Lucien Monot
Born in Lausanne in 1994, Lucien Monot graduated from HEAD (Geneva University of Art and Design) in 2017 in Film. His two short films, Genesis and The True Tales have been screened and rewarded at the Locarno Film Festival in 2016 and 2017. He is currently writing his first long feature, Le Pays.
 
Wendy Pillonel
After graduating from a Bachelor in Film and a Master in Film Direction from ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) in 2016, Wendy Pillonel is currently editing her first feature length documentary Art Work produced by DOK MOBILE, Fribourg, and writing her feature film Les Éclipsées produced by Peacock Film Zürich.
 
Aline Schmid 
After graduating from the University of Fribourg and Lisbon, Aline Schmid worked as Head of Distribution for arthouse distributor Cineworx. She was associated as a Producer at Intermezzo Films (Geneva) from 2011 to 2016, before founding Beauvoir Films in 2016. She participated in the programs Emerging Producer in Jihlava and Producer on the Move in Cannes. Aline Schmid has produced several documentaries and fiction features, among others Walden (Special Jury Award Karlovy Vary 2018), Closing Time (Silver Leopard Locarno 2018) and Sonita (awarded at Sundance / IDFA).
 
Antoine Jaccoud 
Born in 1957 in Lausanne, Switzerland. As screenwriter, has worked on the screenplay of numerous films including Denis Rabaglia’s Azzuro (Best Swiss Film of 2000), and two films directed by Ursula Meier, Home (Semaine de la Critique, Cannes 2008, Quartz Swiss Film Prize) and Sister (Silver Bear at the Berlin Festival 2012).
 
Fabrizio Polpettini 
Fabrizio Polpettini studied documentary at the Ateliers Varan and holds a MA in audio-visual production from the the INA. He is cofounder of La Bête – a company created with the ambition of experimenting innovative languages through the production of works that blur the boundaries between cinema, television, and visual arts – and of Filmcaravan, an open-air film festival of which he is also artistic director.
