Which little boy has never dreamt of becoming an astronaut one day? Moldovan animation studio Simpals’ first virtual reality project enables us, thanks to VR technology, to fulfil that dream. Wings is a delightful tale for young and old alike that tells the story of Nelu, an astronaut who has always dreamt of freedom and being able to fly, but who lives trapped in his spacecraft. One day, his space capsule loses control and crashes on Earth. This accident forces Nelu to spread his wings and become the child he once was again. The creation of this work took close to four years and the project remains unique, not only for Moldova, but for Eastern European countries as a whole.
