A virtual transposition of the total theatre dreamt up by the Bauhaus movement, this original experience brings the visual reflections of Gropius and Schlemmer into the digital age. Like a gigantic retro-futuristic party where machines dance to the music of Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch and the choreographies of Richard Siegal.
Based on the stage experiments of major figures in the Bauhaus movement, namely Walter Gropius and Oskar Schlemmer, Das Totale Tanz Theater materializes the dream of a “total theater” thanks to a special collaboration between virtual reality pioneers and famous choreographer Richard Siegal. A large-scale project with breathtaking technology, this strange and intriguing interactive experience raises the question of the relationship between man and machine as well as the role of artificial intelligence in the future. A complete visual and sound immersion into a dance performance on three levels.
