Three matches burning in the darkness. Each represents a memory. As the flame burns out, the memory comes to life under the eyes of the deceased person who lived it, and dances, dances in his mind. A sublime and unsettling VR choreographic work.

In a near future, the Afterlife Memory Trust company (ourselves) enables you to choose three memories that you can relive, once you are dead. Each vision lasts as long as a match takes to burn out. A man wakes up in an unknown dimension of consciousness. What does he see? What does he hear? What does he feel? Is it a memory, virtual reality or a moment of lucidity in the final throes? With Afterimage for Tomorrow, producer Singing Chen in collaboration with choreographer Chou Shou-Yi, has created a VR experience that is both unsettling and sublime on the power of our memories.
