A. Slim has made, edited and produced his own dialogue-free movies for the past twelve years. In Tlamess (a Tunisian word meaning “enchantment”), only the eyes converse. Living, fleeing human beings     show themselves in all their states, strong and weak. This atmospheric movie embodies Tunisia’s fast-changing cinema industry. Lively and moving, it’s a movie about transfiguration, “the result of much weariness and love”, says the moviemaker.
