The Little Drummer Girl is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by John Le Carré, an author of spy novels such as The Night Manager and a former British secret service agent. The series walks a tight line between acting and real life. All in all, is spying not an ultimate – and extreme – form of roleplay? A first series by the great Park Chan-wook, who spoils us with this pure visual and intellectual marvel.
