Based on real facts, dedicated to survivors of the 90s, The Bull is a first striking movie by a former ballet dancer. In a murky Moscow suburb everything is turned upside down. In a world between demolition and reconstruction, young people seek to find their place in the middle of gang wars. In 1999 Yeltsin resigned with these words: “Be happy. You deserve happiness. Happiness and calm. Happy new year!” A scathing electro-pop satire.
