Alma wants to meet her father. She leaves for Bosnia. Over there, instead of a father, she finds a cousin, his buddy, a car that still drives and the promise of many a strange adventure. A crazy fairytale, saturated with pastel tones and steeped in absurdity. Magical.

In Bosnia, the youth live amidst the memories and the shadows of a war that isn’t theirs. The movie tells the story of young people of today from several nationalities, stuck in the solitude of the in-between, between East and West, between one culture and another, between sincere love and crude sex. A pop, ethereal road-movie, a mixture of humor and gravitas by a promising young Dutch moviemaker of Bosnian origin.
