Shortly before her suicide, British author Sarah Kane wrote a mesmerizing, prophetic text, 4.48 Psychosis. Collective AES+F took inspiration from it to create a psychedelic experience that leads us from a psychiatric hospital to the inner landscapes of a visionary artist.
This project is freely based on Sarah Kane’s text 4.48 Psychosis, written in a psychiatric clinic on the eve of her suicide. It features a virtual reality experience produced by Russian artists’ collective AES+F which transports viewers into the disturbing world of the British author: a journey filled with cockroaches, images of female bodies, blood, psychedelic colors and surrealism.
