Used to combining animation with real-life footage, Johannes Nyholm has created with Koko-di Koko-da a sort of follow-up to his short movie Speldosan: “It all began with an image I had in my mind just before falling asleep. I then added other ideas in a notebook. I remember it gave me goosebumps. The story was there.” A cruel tale, like a surrealistic nightmare about suffocation somewhere between A Nightmare on Elm Street and Groundhog Day.
