In presence of Koya Kamura, Friday November 8.
Soo-Ha leads a monotonous life in the Korean seaside town of Sokcho, having never known her French father. The arrival of a tourist triggers an identity crisis for the young woman.

Haunted by the absence of a French father she doesn't know, Soo-Ha works temporarily as a cook in a boarding house in Sokcho, South Korea. One day, a tourist from France bursts into the young woman's routine life. Adapted from Élisa Shua Dusapin's eponymous novel, this film by French-Japanese director Koya Kamura delicately explores the self-discovery of two free electrons whose lives come together by chance, at a pivotal moment in their lives. She's a reserved student unsure of what to do with her future, he's a gruff comic book writer in need of inspiration, and yet, for the duration of a vacation, this timely encounter brings together two people whom everything seems to separate. A beautiful work about communication and opening up.
