Following on from Tupalmancer, presented at GIFF in 2023, The Golden Key is a new proposal by Matthew Niederhauser and Marc Da Costa mixing digital creation and generative art. A collaborative work in which the public can integrate their own pieces of narrative, The Golden Key questions the notion of modern myth, using artificial intelligence trained on the tales and legends we all read and listened to as children. Immerse yourself in an infinite creative abundance and take part in an odyssey in which you are the only true hero. This work won the Best Immersive Experience Award at SXSW.

Marc is an anthropologist specialising in data processing. In his artistic practice, he expresses a desire to explore today's society through the use of new technologies. Co-Founder of the Sensorium studio, he has been using artificial intelligence since 2022 to create open, participatory works that question our relationship with innovation. He won the Jury Prize in the XR competition at SXSW.

Matthew Niederhauser
A graduate of MIT's urban planning department, Matthew is technical director of the ONX studio and co-Founder of Sensorium. Always on the lookout for the latest innovations, Matthew has been navigating for several years between immersive creation, digital installations and today artificial intelligence. A regular at major festivals (Sundance, Venice, Tribeca, IDFA), he won the Jury Prize in the XR competition at SXSW 2024.
