When five black teenagers win a scholarship to a prestigious private school, they discover a world totally unfamiliar to them, where racism is rife.
In a deprived London suburb, Leah, Jaheim, Toby, Omar and Femi win a scholarship to join the elitist private school of St Gilbert's, whose reputation has recently been tarnished by the publication of a video showing the shameful behavior of certain students. The five newcomers struggle to adapt to a world so different from any they've known before. A finely written comedy-drama, created by Daniel Lawrence Taylor (Timewasters) and remarkably performed by a cast of promising young actors.
