To feel the wind, the elements...That's the power of this work. Our imaginations collide in absolute nothingness for a journey with a minimalist aesthetic that reinvents the form of immersive experience.
An artist recognized 20 years ago at the Annecy festival for his contemporary and striking visual style, Adriaan Lokman has created a virtual reality adaptation of his latest film. An abstract and minimalist journey defined by the elements – in this case, the wind – gradually takes on the form of a day-to-day life with a linear character. An umbrella, a metro station, a car... The habitually physical adopts a floating, distorted and suspended form. By exploiting the imaginative potential of virtual reality to the full, this pioneer of digital animation reveals the true power of this nascent medium.
