Through the repeated crises that affect Lebanon, the Badri family takes refuge in a small corner of paradise. One day, trucks arrive to unload piles of rubbish in front of their windows. Surrounded, they will have to rethink the world of their tomorrows.

“You should decide whether you love or hate this country!”. Inspired by the 2015 waste crisis, during which thousands of protesters demanded the fall of the regime in the name of the citizens’ collective “You Stink”, the filmmaker weaves her huis-clos in the last remaining green space in Lebanon, where a family lives surrounded by a burning garbage dump. What can be done when corruption plagues the whole country? Even the water runs red… A powerful film carried by Nadine Labaki and Saleh Bakri, with a soundtrack by Nathan Larson.
