The GIFF pays tribute to the Swiss personalities who have contributed to the progress of the the audiovisual industry. In this inaugural year, GIFF welcomes Sabine Süsstrunk for her scientific career that has revolutionized the engineering of image systems. On this occasion, she proposes to take stock of the promises and chimeras of the integration of AI in the audiovisual industry during a conference Facts, Fakes, and Fiction (November 12 at 6:15 pm) and invites the public to (re) see a film that inspired her: Hugo by Scorsese.
