A man gets out of prison. He is a seducer, a charlatan. He is likeable, he has a disarming smile. But he kills women. Pierre Deladonchamps lends his charm and gentleness to Djé, a diabolical angel in this first blood-curdling film. A revelation.

Rascal is inspired by Djé – a character in Errance, the director's first short film – and the story of three serial killers (Mamadou Traore, Patrick Trémeau and Guy Georges) who terrorized Paris. Peter Dourountzis paints a portrait of a chameleon with no conscience. Appearing and disappearing, he charms everyone in his path like a black angel. A disturbing, meandering film about the fringes of society, filled with explosive encounters with women.
