They have gained in maturity, depth and ambition, as evidence by Frieden, a Swiss German fresco set in the immediate post-war period, which follows the destiny of Klara, Egon and Johann, three young people who dream of a future in a country where Holocaust survivors and fleeing nazis have taken refuge…
