Echoes is a virtual reality short film that explores new forms of avatars through digital choreography. Avatars often represent abstract versions of ourselves that leave little space for complex human aspects like gender identity, trauma, insecurity, dependency, or duality. Through animated choreography, Echoes explores these themes and tinkers with their translations into digital bodies, thus creating avatars that represent the complexity of being human.
