Pneumo Hacker is a virtual reality fiction which features an aggressive form of air pollution that contains a virus. When people are infected they lose consciousness and start behaving excessively. The “Pneumo Hackers” are the only ones who can fight this invisible threat. In a trashy set and with esthetics reminiscent of 1980s VHS tapes, Taiwanese moviemaker Lai Kuan-Yuan has created a quirky, cyberpunk sci-fi work.
