What if you could meet different versions of yourself, as if your self was stuck in a spatio-temporal loop? Thanks to 3D capture, Swiss company Imverse and artist Maria Gutta have created the craziest immersive project of the year.
On reservation only. One person every 30 minutes
Combining virtual reality with volumetric capture and live performance, this project relies on the real-time recording of segments of ourselves which are then integrated into several video loops. During the experience, viewers get to go back in time to see multiple copies of themselves, creating an extraordinary experience that blurs the distinction between original bodies and their copies. Created by artist Maria Guta in association with Geneva start-up Imverse, this experience plays on perception and features a reflection on the way identity and reality change and are molded, distorted, improved, and manipulated in the context of cyber existence and social networks.
